Fitzpatrick’s Deli

Sean Desmond Fitzpatrick

Name: Sean Desmond Fitzpatrick
Age and Birthday: 23; December 24th, 1984

Throughout a majority of Sean’s childhood and adolescence, he was described by other members of his teachers, friends and other members of his family as the “most outgoing” of the Fitzpatrick clan or the “class clown” based solely on his somewhat basic need to socialize, have a good time, and maintain the close relationships around him. Due to his participation on several sports teams and in extracurricular activities in school, unlike his oldest brother, Brian Finn Fitzpatrick, Jr. This was never a cause for any kind of predictable sibling rivalry though. In fact, despite being close with all of his siblings, Sean somewhat idolized his oldest brother, as his true passion lay in music composition, production and performance — a more artistic and less practical passion their father was sure to shun, as he’d seen him do to Finn’s photography — which caused him to quietly feed his passion by performing in local New York bars and clubs as soon as he turned 21.

Sean was angry at their father for forcing Finn out of the house and eventually New York all together, but it was possible that he was angrier at Finn for actually leaving not only New York City, but eventually the United States all together. As a result of this turnaround, Sean ignored the conflict and decided to remain in their father’s good graces without Finn there to back him or his music up anymore, even going as far as going to New York University to major in business management (with a minor in performing arts, which caused his father a slight bit of anger but eventually allowed) and working part-time in the family-owned deli presently run by their Uncle Eddie and Aunt Lois when he isn’t performing his music in a local dive.

Sean is extremely well-versed in nearly all genres of music from rock, pop and hip-hop to classical, country and rap. He rarely goes anywhere without his iPod in his pocket and you’re lucky to find him at home when he isn’t playing some kind of music that represents his mood at the time as well. As a result, Sean has dabbled in nearly all forms of music including vocal performance and percussion but is most capable and passionate about the guitar. Many of his friends, and even his own older sister, have in the past referred to him as a multi-talented “one man band.” And while not particularly interested in pursuing it professionally, Sean’s recently shown an affinity for Polaroid photography, thanks much in part to the camera Finn has passed to his younger siblings.

Having only lost his virginity the year after he’d graduated from high school to one of his former teachers (they did always love him in school!), Sean has never been in a serious relationship and, despite having given it significant consideration and maintaining several close friends, he’s not particularly looking for a serious relationship either. However, should an interesting offer shoot his way, he’s definitely not one to pass up what he’d view as an incredible opportunity or experience. Sean is incredibly close to most of his family, though his relationship with his oldest brother is somewhat strained due to the past conflict between Finn and their father. In regards to the death of their father, Sean does his best to avoid talking about it to anyone because he has a hard time admitting to himself and to others that he feels somewhat liberated to do what he wants with his life without him around, despite missing him terribly.
